"I ordered from them once and…"
I ordered from them once and wasn’t expecting that much food to show up. The portions were properly big, enough that I had leftovers for lunch the next day, which was a nice surprise. The only annoying part was that the communication wasn’t very clear, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect until the order arrived. Food-wise though, no complaints from me

"I’m always a little nervous about getting…"
I’m always a little nervous about getting fooled or talked into something, but they were super nice to me. They made me feel comfortable right away and didn’t give me any weird pressure, which I really appreciated.

"Service was okay, but support felt rushed"
I tried hookreel.com and the actual service was fine, nothing terrible. But the customer support side wasn’t great. I had to repeat the same questions a couple of times, and the replies felt rushed, like they were just trying to move on to the next message. They weren’t rude, but it didn’t really feel like they were paying close attention. it gave me a bit of a “get the payment, then do the bare minimum” kind of vibe. It would be a lot better if they actually read messages properly before responding.

"Decent seats, but comfort could be better"
The seats were okay at first, but after sitting for a while they started to get uncomfortable. I feel like this is something that should be addressed, especially if people are expected to sit for longer periods. It’s not the worst experience, but there should be more accountability for making sure the seating actually stays comfortable

"Pretty quiet, but not silent"
I gave it 4 stars mostly because it’s quieter than I thought it would be. It’s definitely not completely silent — I can still hear a bit of noise when it’s running, but it’s not loud or irritating. For regular use, it’s been totally fine and doesn’t really bother me.

"Clean and Comfortable, But Nothing Fancy"
I was happy with how clean the place was. The tables were wiped down, the floors looked well kept, and even the bathroom was in good shape, which I always appreciate. It’s not exactly a fancy spot or anything special atmosphere-wise, but it felt comfortable and taken care of. I’d definitely eat here again...

"Cheap Drinks, No BS"
Drinks were cheap as hell and the vibe was actually really good. Not one of those overpriced, pretentious spots acting like they invented cocktails. Just a chill place to hang out and have a good time

There was a lot to pick from. I started comparing it to other places I’ve been, but… yeah, there were just plenty of choices and it made it easy to find something I liked.

"So Glad We Tried This Place"
I was a little unsure at first, but I’m really glad we gave it a try. The vibe was just right, not too loud, but still fun, and the place felt clean and cozy. The music was good too, which made it even nicer. It ended up being a really relaxed spot to sit, eat, and hang out with friends

"Good flavor, but the wait was annoying"
The flavor was actually good, but it was a little too salty for my taste. I also got frustrated with how long I had to wait, so that definitely took away from the experience a bit.

"Pretty reliable overall"
Most of the time the food comes out evenly, which is all I really need. There was one batch that came out a little off, not sure if I loaded it weird or what, but yeah... overall it’s been reliable enough that I haven’t really had to think about it much

Used hookreel last week, the speed was what stood out the most. Everything moved quickly, from placing the order to getting updates along the way. I didn’t have to keep checking in or chase anyone, which was a nice change. Got everything done faster than I expected. Super simple, no hassle, and I’d use them again

"Kind of wish I’d double-checked everything first"
I ordered from hookreel and, to be fair, the delivery showed up quickly. But I regret not being more cautious, because the order wasn’t quite right. A few of the details I picked were missing, and one item looked different from what I thought I had selected. Support did respond, but it took a few messages back and forth just to explain what went wrong. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but for what I paid, I really expected them to get it right the first time...

"Hookreel is a decent value if…"
hookreel is a decent value if you only need the basic stuff. I don’t know why, but some parts just feel a little limited to me, so I’m not totally convinced it’s worth paying extra for. It’s fine overall, just depends on what you need it for.

The seasoning was really good — not bland at all, which I appreciated. You can tell they didn’t just toss in random spices and call it a day. The mix had a nice flavor, but the heat was a bit stronger than I was expecting, so I had to slow down while eating it. Still really tasty though. I’d order it again, but next time I’d probably go with mild.

"Pretty good, just a little confused about the shrimp"
I ordered from hookreel.com and the food showed up hot, which I was happy about. The fries were still warm too and somehow not soggy, which was a nice surprise. The only thing that confused me a bit was the shrimp cooled down really fast once I opened everything, even though the rest seemed fine. Not sure why that happened, but overall it was still good and I’d order again
